Ford Bronco will get its mid-cycle redesign in 2025: Report

What will Ford do differently?

Although the Ford Bronco has finally reached customers, it has had many production problems pre- and post-launch. The SUV debuted in July 2020, for the 2021 model years. However, a new report by Ford Authority indicates that we should not get too comfortable with its design. The publication states that Ford will redesign the Bronco’s mid-cycle for the 2025 model year. However, it is not clear how extensive.

Ford Authority refers to “sources familiar about the Bronco’s production schedule” for the information’s origin. So take this with a grain of salt. A 2025 refresh seems not too far away. It has been a trend for automakers to accelerate their refresh plans in recent years. Lincoln already gave the Corsair an overhaul and the Corsair debuted for 2020. Ford may not make significant changes to the fascias of the SUV, but they will be updated.

Ford has been having difficulty getting Broncos to customers because of issues with the hardtops. The company has announced that it will be replacing all the molded in color ones. Ford will also debut the rugged Ford Bronco Raptor in 2022. The SUV should have more off-road capabilities and more power under its hood. The Bronco Raptor’s powertrain is not yet known, but the automaker does have options.

The car’s debut and delivery are not the end of automotive development. Engineers and designers are often back at the drawing board, dreaming up the next iteration. Although we don’t know what Ford will do with the Bronco over the next few years, we are excited to see the evolution of the design. Ford must get the Bronco into driveways. It has the performance and looks of a winner.
