We’ll find out more about the long-awaited pickup truck on November 21st when the brand unveils it in Los Angeles, California. It will be available alongside the Model S sedans, Model X crossover SUVs and Model Y sports cars, as well as the Roadster second-generation. The Cybertruck, or CYBRTRK, seems to be forgoing the brand’s traditional naming scheme which includes the words “Model” and followed by a number.
The Ford F-150 is America’s most popular vehicle, and Rivian and Bollinger are also entering the market. It is unclear if the brand will target mass markets with an F150-like lineup of models and a reasonable starting price, or if it will follow the lead of Rivian by offering a more luxurious-leaning offering. We’re excited to see Tesla’s pickup truck on the road next week in LA, regardless of its name.
